Everything that I have had to do since mum’s death has been horribly difficult. From getting up of a morning, to eating, to making arrangements for bills or services.
Everything except the electricity.
I phoned Origin Energy, and told them that mum had passed away, at which point they became very cooperative.
Electricity for the house is now in my name.

Leave it up to the bureaucracy to make a difficult time harder.
Good on Origin; sounds like a company that knows customer service is the key to success!
